CCTV can be simple or complex, for example to identify individuals or vehicles, to alert an operator to the presence of an individual or to visually patrol a pre-defined area. Once objectives have been agreed, an appropriate mix of system components can be recommended.

A camera to suit your needs

AGN has a full range of cameras to suit all types of CCTV purposes, whether you need external pan and tilt cameras with weatherproof housings, a day/night vision, an infrared or a discrete dome camera for use internally, AGN has access to manufacturing facilities worldwide which provide a complete array of almost any type of camera.

Observation

Where real time observation of images is required, a system may be designed to prompt the operator by configuring pre-set views, pre-determined camera sequences or providing triggers from events such as alarms or motion detection.

Remote monitoring

Where it is impossible or uneconomical to provide the required resource to undertake observation on site, a remote monitoring service can be provided at central monitoring station. By undertaking visual patrols or through event driven observations, an audio communication link with the site provides a means of challenging intruders or reassuring individuals of their safety.

Digital Video Recording

An intelligent digital video management system that digitally records multiple camera images directly to the internal hard disk drive, eliminating the need for conventional VCRs, quads, multiplexers & switchers and their associated maintenance and degradation limitations. However, DVR does more than just record; it provides simultaneous recording, playback and archiving whilst using sophisticated search functions to define and find only those important events that meet your criteria. Digital video recorder provides a powerful, intelligent solution to your security and operations systems. It is networkable, easily integrates with other equipment and is a cost effective solution for many new and existing customers.

Network IP Camera - a stand-alone device which allows users to view live, full motion video from anywhere on a computer network, even over the Internet, using a standard web-browser.

Closed Circuit Twisted Pair (CCTP)

is a revolutionary way to run traditional CCTV security cameras and devices. UL-certified CCTP integrates power, video and control signals all over a single Category 6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable. This differs from traditional CCTV systems, which use three separate and proprietary cables.CCTP is the video surveillance choice for the digital age; an ideal security solution for airports, offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and government and military use.AGN has never been known for standing still and resisting change. So it should come as no surprise to anyone that our engineers have been hard at work to improve CCTP. Based on customer feedback, we’ve completely upgraded CCTP’s hardware and significantly lowered its cost.

Explosion proof Housings and P&T motors

How CCTV Can Help You

CCTV Applications (Security/Monitoring/Surveillance)

Retail Environments

There are several reasons why a retailer might want to install CCTV, one reason is to capture thieves red-handed, but also an increasing reality in the retail industry is combating staff discipline and honesty. Cameras can be placed throughout stores, including the sales floor, entries and exits, loading docks, stock rooms, bookkeeping offices, fitting room entrances and checkout lines, around counters in order to monitor the activities of staff, to save time, labor and other over head costs.  With the increase in litigation cases, employers and public authorities are ever more concerned with providing a safe environment for staff and public alike. CCTV can assist in many cases in proving the exact circumstances behind a litigation claim.

Enhancing Manufacturing

It is possible to place cameras overlooking production lines in order to analyze activity. Employees can be monitored for work efficiency and current business procedures can be studied and evaluated.

Warehouses can utilize cameras to monitor loading and unloading operations, entrances and exits (including fire exits), shipping and storage areas, entry points and parking areas.

Replace Time Clocks Small business can replace time clocks by placing Cameras at employee entrances and using motion detection with notification to let managers, human resources and/or payroll staff confirm employee work activity.

ISPs and Web Hosting Companies can use cameras with motion detection to guard the security of important web services and other related devices. Web hosting companies can also allow customers to see and monitor co-located servers.

Cameras can help prevent losses of drugs, linens, and computer equipment and prevent illegal access to medical records.
